Principal SAP HCM Solution Architect

The Principal SAP HCM Solution Architect is responsible to support the account management team in positioning professional services to design and deliver Tambla products and services. The Principal SAP HCM Solution Architect role is focused on senior-level consulting services and solutions to our customers through a fresh-thinking, high performance and commitment to quality.

Role Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Healthcare Industry Director, The Principal SAP HCM Solution Architect is responsible for:

Client Relationship Management & Customer Satisfaction

  • Builds long standing robust customer relationships and ensures the customer relationship is carefully managed throughout all aspect of professional services delivery.  At all times, works in the interests of Tambla with regards to the day-to-day relationship with the customer.
  • Builds strong client relationships and develop a sound understanding of the client’s business needs.
  • Develops opportunities and work with account management team to progress any lead developments for contract renegotiation, time & materials work or project work for the customers.  
  • Proactively proposes new services and solutions to address identified business requirements within the client’s business environment.
  • Participates in account planning activities with the account team
  • Ensures service delivery to customers is within contract agreement. 

Product Demonstrations & Business Functional Specification Documentation:

  • Collaboratively leads business functional and technical requirements to address client business challenges.
  • Shapes and delivers compelling product and solution demonstrations that are engaging and showcase the functional and process differentiators focusing on Tambla value to the client.
  • Supports industry leadership and account management in content creation for presentation, whitepapers, and delivery of webinars
  • Delivers opportunity development with project delivery office team to complete the discovery phase for a client.
  • Professionally documents each phase of the opportunity development.
  • Executes opinion leadership in customer requests in reinforcing Tambla solution direction.
  • Detail functional responses for Expression of Interests (EOI) and Request for Tender (RFT).

Opportunity Management Support:

  • Participates in discussions with industry leadership to determine white space opportunities.
  • Develops Statement of Works, Solution Designs and Pricing for services for clients in collaboration with the account manager.

Delivery Engagement & Execution:

  • Delivers senior-level consulting services to customers, based on business best practices. 
  • Executes HR and Payroll requirements analysis, solution design and documentation.
  • Builds, configures and tests SAP HCM and Payroll services and solutions.
  • Leads analytical support, investigation and troubleshooting of escalated SAP production issues.  
  • Creates and maintains delivery process documentation as per Tambla and SAP project implementation standards.
  • Liaises with customers to build strong rapport and business relationship with Tambla customers.
  • Collaborates with multiple technical/functional teams to ensure Tambla customer objectives are met.
  • Documents and updates Tambla knowledge base as a source for internal reference.
  • Travels to customer site to provide professional services, as necessary. 

Continual Service Improvement and Innovation:

  • Leads development of Tambla’s SAP Professional Services and Support & BPO team’s SAP HCM and Payroll capability by actively mentoring team members on how to do, writing work instructions and knowledge base articles and running ad-hoc and schedule training sessions.
  • Engages in self-directed learning, training and professional development to  advance product and consulting knowledge and services.
  • Attends SAP forums and workshops to increase networking and partnership opportunities.

Employee Engagement:

  • Ensures all HR issues are escalated to HR appropriately and followed up on.
  • Develops effective working relationships with other members of the team to ensure the best team outcome.
  • Generates & shares relevant knowledge, experience and ideas with team members with the aim of building team competence.
  • Provides constructive feedback to improve team capability.
  • Presents open and honest communications at all levels and remain accountable for personal performance.

Key Working Relationships

Principal SAP HCM Solution Architect will build relationships with the following:

  • Customers: Client executives, payroll managers, HR & talent managers, operations managers.
  • Tambla team members: Industry leadership, account managers, project managers, and delivery consultants.
  • Partners: SAP architects, and 3rd Party providers

Knowledge, Skills, and Work Experience

Essential

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or substantial experience in professional consulting.
  • Strong practical knowledge and experience within consulting
  • Proven experience within opportunity pursuit environment
  • Depth in SAP Human Capital Management application suite
  • Consulting and stakeholder management and client-facing impact.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving.
  • Professional level of written and verbal English communication.
  • Good collaborative skills working in a team of other highly experienced members
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in consulting or pre-sales experience
  • Expertise in delivering SAP HR/Payroll and other WFM solutions.
