The Role

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Customer Experience, the primary purpose of the Business Development Manager is to secure new logo acquisitions throughout Australia to drive revenue growth. You will work with prospective clients to position Tambla’s HR and WFM solutions to help solve people management challenges.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, grow & manage a pipeline of new business opportunities developed from both inbound leads & outbound prospecting
  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders across the business to initiate, manage & close strategic opportunities
  • Manage highly detailed tender processes and deliver compelling proposals
  • Develop sales insights to identify and implement new growth tactics
  • Represent Tambla through development of relationships based on a true understanding of client requirements and trust

Skills and Experience

A proven sales professional with a drive for sales success; you will be results oriented, charismatic and have a demonstrated record of accomplishment in an enterprise technology sales role – ideally within an HCM, Payroll or Workforce Management environment.

  • 3+ years’ experience enterprise software sales experience, including pipeline development & management, creating and presenting compelling value propositions
  • Strong networks in enterprise sales of human resources, HRIS, payroll and/or WFM software
  • Ability to seek out and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Demonstrated track record of sales success in selling enterprise software solutions – ideally to Enterprise and/or Government sectors
  • Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management – across all levels of business including C-Suite
  • A genuine, motivated, team-player
