The Opportunity

A Senior Consultant – SAP HCM/Payroll role provides senior-level consulting services and solutions to our customers with fresh-thinking, high performance and commitment to quality. our Senior Consultants contribute to, and support Tambla Business Services initiatives by performing a functional and support role for new and existing managed services customers.

The core objectives and responsibilities of a Senior SAP HCM Payroll Functional Consultant include:

  • Consulting Services to customers/business in designing, implementing and supporting SAP HCM and Payroll systems and related services.
  • SAP HCM and Payroll functional configuration, implementation and testing services to customer requirements and expectations for minor enhancements.
  • SAP Support – SAP on-prem Payroll and SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP), HCM and general support to customers in line with contracted SLAs.

Duties

  • Providing senior-level consulting services to customers/business based on best practices.
  • Configure, support and implement SAP HCM and Payroll services and solutions
  • HR and Payroll requirements analysis, solution design, documentation and testing.
  • Performing SAP configuration in the following modules: Payroll on-prem and ECP, Time Management, Organisation Management, Personnel Administration and Self-Service modules.
  • Support of project and release phases of system and integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing as well as performing and supporting payroll parallel run testing
  • Analytical support, investigation and troubleshooting of project and production issues.
  • Create and maintain process and configuration documentation as per Tambla’s and SAP project implementation standards.
  • Liaising with customers, building strong rapport and business relationships with customers.
  • Working with multiple technical/functional teams and Business to ensure SAP system is supported.
  • Documenting and updating the knowledge base for internal and customer users.
  • Travel to customer site to provide implementation and support services as necessary from time to time.
  • Lead design and build activities.

Knowledge

  • Strong SAP Payroll & HCM (ECC 6.0) Functional knowledge and application across integrated business processes.
  • Good knowledge of best practices and industry trends, be able to act as a business analyst focused on process improvement, business requirements analyses.
  • SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP) functional knowledge and application across business processes.

Skills

  • Understanding of Australian payroll legislation.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver against multiple accountabilities.
  • Consulting and stakeholder management and ability to be client facing.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving.
  • Professional level of written and verbal English communication.
  • Configuration of solutions across Payroll, Time Management, Organisation Management and Personal Administration.
  • Capable of performing application testing of configuration changes.
  • Good collaborative skills working in a team of other highly experienced members.
  • Ability to mentor junior functional consultants.
  • Ability to cope well under pressure of a payroll and high-pressure support environment.

Experience

We are looking for an expert with strong SAP Payroll & HCM (ECC 6.0) Functional knowledge. You will bring a best practice approach with experience in SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP). Teamwork is important but so is working autonomously.

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience as an SAP Payroll/HCM consultant.
  • Provide support to UAT, training, Data Migration, and Cutover.
  • In-depth functional knowledge in the following:
    • Payroll
    • Time Management
    • Leave Management
    • Organisation Management
    • Personnel Administration
  • Health / Public Sector industry experience.
  • Concurrent Employment experience.
  • ESS/MSS or integration or implementation experience.
  • Functional knowledge of the following:
    • Fiori
    • EC to ECP Point to Point (PTP) integration
